Public Secrets isn't one of Nora Roberts most popular books. It's not one that gets mentioned much and I know a lot of her readers don't particularly care for it. But there's something about this book that thoroughly captures me. It's one of my all-time favorite books.

It follows the McAvoys, through the eyes of Emma, from the time she is three years old, through childhood, 5/5(5). After getting into the situationist tracts in the Anthology, and then first reading Knabb's "Joy of Revolution" in Public Secrets then his compiled earlier work, I realized The Author, Ken, donated a number of his books to an anarchist bookstore in the bay area.
